DriverMobile is B2B application used by business fleet drivers to track execution of services, real time location using GPS, and fleet maintenance checklists.
Business fleet operations relied on legacy on-board consoles and paper checklists, causing delays in data reporting and inefficient service tracking.
The Solution
I kickstarted the development of 'DriverMobile', a cross-platform .NET application. It leverages SignalR for real-time interactions between the Backoffice and the mobile App, and GPS location broadcasting. The App digitizes maintenance workflows, replacing physical paperwork.
Impact
Modernized the client's fleet mobile devices from old embedded Windows CE devices to Android smartphones, improving driver efficiency and providing fleet managers with real-time visibility into service execution.
